2004 Peter Dammers

The fine arts department offers 6 fine arts courses (listed in white): 3 basic courses (Basic Drawing, Basic Painting, Watercolour) and 2 semi advanced courses (Basic Drawing II and Basic Painting II). A kick start is offered in our Crash Course Drawing (one single class). The other options (in black) in the list to the right are workshops.

In practically all classes subjects like anatomy, perspective, proportion, composition, tonal value, line, colour, expression and interpretation are addressed. Absolute beginners are advised to take our Basic Drawing I Course before starting any of the painting courses or workshops.

The school provides live models, easels and papers, as well as most art materials (pencils, charcoal, erasers, pastels, inks, watercolours ..). We recommend students to buy their own paints, canvases and brushes.
