The first half of this course will be devoted to portrait drawing, the second half to figure drawing. In portrait drawing, we will concentrate on the shape of the head, the features, and on how to achieve resemblance to the model.

In figure drawing, we will look at the proportions and basic shape of the male and the female, and at how to suggest volume.
