summer course working from concepts

Some art is created on the the fly, guided by intuition, where other works are well planned on the basis a preconceived concept. Of course these approaches are not mutually exclusive and most artists probably use both.

Drawing on an extensive list of creative concepts from the Vondelpark Atelier library, you are challenged during projects to work using a conceptual approach. We shall also look at well known concept and process based work from the past.

(most) art materials are catered by the school

The sessions are scheduled on 5 days from 10-16hrs, in the week of 31 August. The price is 380 euro.
