Lee Friedlander

summer course street photography

One of the most special characteristics of photography as a medium is that it captures a unique moment in time and space: For each photograph writes history, however insignificant.

Taking inspiration from the work of the likes of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Lee Friedlander and Martin Parr, we discuss the best camera settings before venturing out on the streets to capture striking moments and scenes. Results are discussed every next session.

Teacher Peter Dammers is himself a passionate street photographer who will rarely leave his flat without his camera. And when he does, he feels deprived.

The sessions are scheduled on 4 days (no session on Wednesday) in the week of Aug 21, from 10-16hrs. The price is 250 euros.
