Trompe l'oeil ('fool the eye') denotes a very subtle way of painting, aimed at attaining a high degree of realism.

For this workshop reasonable drawing skills are required. During the process in which the technique of trompe l'oeil painting is revealed to you by the teacher, you will be working on a single painting for some time. The subject will be a specially arranged still life.
