Yawen Fu is a Chinese artist based in Amsterdam. She makes concept-based work with her mind and hands. Her artistic journey encompasses videos, photography, performance, installation, and jewellery. She learned to work with metal, textile, yarn, silicone, wood, clay, ceramic and plaster during her study at ENSAD Limoges (FR) and Gerrit Rietveld academy (NL).

To Yawen art-making is a way to expand herself and connect with her surroundings: space, land, creature and people. Though Yawen is just embarking on her teaching journey, her innate patience and kind-hearted nature make her a natural guide for those seeking to explore the world of art.
