summer course drawing
In this drawing summer course the emphasis will be on the discovery of individual possibilities by the students, which opens the door to developing a personal style. In the starting projects several fundamental drawing skills are presented and practised. We then shift our attention to the human figure.
In his classes, VpA's fine arts teacher Peter enjoys offering his students very different approaches to drawing, allowing the students to freely gather insights and techniques that make sense to and work for them and perhaps only them. Peter believes this generally increases their appreciation of the discipline, which in turn boosts confidence and speeds up progress.
As an artist Peter particularly enjoys drawing and painting people.
Models, easels, paper and drawing materials, as coffee, tea and lunches, are catered by the school.
The sessions are scheduled on all 5 week days from 10:00-15:00 (except for Wednesday 10-13), in the week of July 23. The school will cater lunches and on Friday afternoon there will be a merry alcoholic conclusion. The course fee is 375 euros. The studio allows for a maximum of 5 students.
