The comic book is a relatively young art form, that developed in the US during the early decades of the previous century, later in Europe and more recently in Japan. Today an enormous diversity of comics are pubished all over the world.

In this summer course topics such as character design, facial expression, body language, anatomy, panel composition, developing a personal style, scenario, story boarding and layout are addressed.

The sessions run on the 5 week days from 10-16hrs, of the week of August 15. The price is 410 euros. This includes (most) art materials, lunches, coffee and tea. On Friday afternoon there will be a conclusive and possibly intoxicating drink.
